Real Wood Veneers

For timeless natural beauty and elegance – there's simply nothing to match real wood veneer. Many of the reception ranges we feature are made using real wood veneers to bring richness and texture for a classic piece of furniture. No other material can provide the range of colours and patterns of this most natural material. No two pieces are ever identical - every single piece is unique. It encompasses everything: simple and elegant, sleek and modern, classic yet cool.

What is Wood Veneer?

Wood veneer is a thin slice of wood cut or peeled from a log. The slice can be as thin as a piece of paper or thick enough to accommodate sanding and refinishing. The veneer is adhered to another wood surface. Typically, the outer layer is made from the most beautiful or exotic woods, while the main construction is made from a heavy duty particle board. Veneers are very durable, as illustrated by the many pieces of antique veneered furniture that are still in use today.

Other Finishes & Materials

There are many other finishes that we can use in the design of your reception furniture. As well as real wood veneers, table tops can be made in toughened glass (with undersprayed colours and finishes), as well as scratch resistant and non-reflective high density melamine finishes. Chrome and leather can be used in seating to compliment the deep richness of wood, and give a timeless feel to the reception area.
