Our call centre furniture is good for 24hr use. Over the years, Dragonfly has installed quite a few call centres for a variety of clients. We have specialist workstations that allow multiple configurations and suit several different people using the same workspace. We can also provide height adjustable desks as well as ICT accessories to secure any hardware. Our range of 24 hour seating and fully adjustable ergonomic chairs ensure everyone is comfortable and supported. Using screen arms for the monitors, we can make sure every workstation can be adjusted to suit the needs of the user.

What to look for?

Working in a call centre involves spending a great deal of time sitting in an office chair - a position that adds stress to the structures in the spine. Therefore, to avoid developing back problems, it's important to have an office chair that's ergonomic and that supports the lower back promoting good posture. There are many types of ergonomic chairs available. No one type of chair is necessarily the best, but there are some things that are very important to look for in a good ergonomic chair. These things will allow the individual user to make the chair work well for his or her specific needs. Specifically, you should look for full adjustability, both seat height and depth, adjustable back support and lumbar support, and a chair mechanism that allows flexibility and movement.

Desk Ergonomics

The key to a good working space is getting rid of clutter and wires. The less distractions you have around you, the more you are able to focus. The humble screen arm is one such item that is a must, especially in a call centre where the desk is shared. By physically lifting your computer screen off the desk, you instantly create more space and a much better viewing height. We can do screen arms that can support up to six screens! In addition, we have specialist arms for items such as tablet computers. Put this together with our range of cable management and power accessories, and you have a desk to be proud of.

Height Adjustable Desks

People come in all shapes and sizes and so should the working environment. Sitting at a desk that is too small for you is likely to cause a raft of occupational health problems. This is why many larger companies are specifying height adjustability for their office workstations - even in call centres. At Dragonfly, we have a range of height adjustable desk solutions. From basic manual versions, through to advanced electronic and gas lift operation. We can also create bench runs with height adjustable sections - thus ideally suited to the call centre environment.
